A reference for every translatable text area in SmartSize, who can edit it, and where to make changes.
Button labels¶
Button labels are the storefront text that shoppers click to open a size chart or fit quiz. These are merchant-editable through Shopify Translate & Adapt.

These labels are part of the SmartSize app embed strings in Shopify. Changes apply to the storefront button text only. They do not affect the content inside the size chart or fit quiz.

Size chart content¶
Size chart content is the text shoppers see inside a size chart, such as table headers, size names, measurement labels, and any text blocks you add. This is merchant-editable through SmartSize.

SmartSize can auto-translate size chart content with AI. After AI translation, review and correct any errors before publishing.

Fit quiz content¶
Fit quiz content is the text shoppers see inside a fit quiz, such as questions, answer choices, and result messages. This is maintained by the SmartSize team and is not merchant-editable.

Fit quiz translations are available for the languages listed in Fit quiz supported languages. If you need a language that is not yet supported, contact SmartSize support.
Popup and modal text¶
Popup text appears inside the size chart and fit quiz modals. Some is merchant-editable and some is maintained by SmartSize.
